Laser engraving processing is based on numerical control technology, and laser is the processing medium. Laser processing features: no contact with the surface of the material, not affected by mechanical motion, the surface will not be deformed, generally do not need to be fixed. It is not affected by the elasticity and flexibility of the material, and is convenient for soft materials. The processing precision is high, the speed is fast, and the application field is wide.

The laser engraving machine can engrave on the glass surface, but the engraving depth is not deep and cannot be cut. Under normal circumstances, the laser can form a frosting or breaking effect on the surface of the glass. Usually the user wants to get the effect of frosting instead of breaking. The key depends on the texture of the work and whether the hardness is consistent.

It is often difficult to control the art glass with a laser engraving machine. Follow the steps below to make a smoother matte finish:

1. Apply a little wash to the area to be carved.

2. Cut down a newspaper or napkin that is slightly larger than the area to be carved.

3. Use water to completely soak the paper, squeeze out the excess water, and place the wet paper in the area to be engraved without pleating.

4. Place the glass in the engraving machine, engrave while the paper is still wet, then remove the glass, remove the remaining paper, and clean the glass surface. If necessary, gently polish the glass surface with a 3M scotchBrite.

5, the laser power setting should be smaller, the accuracy is set at 300dpi, the engraving speed is faster, you can try to use large size lenses for engraving
