355nm紫外激光器的加工技术
紫外激光器加工技术随着国内激光应用技术以及数控机床技术的发展,国内一些激光企业也开始研制国产的一体式紫外激光器加工设备。总体上来说,国产紫外激光微加工设备的研发和推广起步较晚,并且主要部件依赖进口受到诸多限制,在固体脉冲激光器设备性能上存在一定的差距。此外,由于激光微加工设备相对传统机械加工设备较为昂贵,企业更希望设备功能多样化,以简化现有工艺,提高生产效率同时节省成本。
紫外激光由于光子能量高,在与PI等高分子聚合物材料作用时,紫外激光器的应用可将光能转变为光化学能,直接破坏部分连接物质院子或者分子组分的化学键,达到去除材料的目的。这种将物质分离成原子的过程是一个光化学作用的“冷”过程,对加工区域周边几乎无热损伤,可以获得极高的加工质量和加工尺寸精度,于是UV激光在FPC及其辅材上的得以广泛的应用。
由于红外或可见光波段激光束的加工机理是将光能转变成为热能,一体式紫外激光器加工技术使得物质融化或者蒸发,这种方式不可避免的导致激光热量以热传导和热辐射的方式向材料区域周围扩散,产生重熔层和热影响区域,从而限制了微细加工边缘的质量和精度。
